At PorthEden we’re opening up about mental health. We’re creating spaces and places where it’s safe for you to come and talk to us about any issues that are affecting your mental health. We welcome friends and concerned relatives as well if you wish to talk about a loved one.
Stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, concerns, isolation, loneliness, the list goes on…
Whether you self-refer, are referred to us by your GP or simply want an online source where you can join the conversation we aim to be here for you at all times.
We currently operate a ‘Crises Cafe’ out of Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change in Redruth and you are welcome to come and visit us, Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. We are open 6:30pm until 10pm. You do not have to be in crisis, or make an appointment. Just drop in for a chat and a tea or coffee.
We’re currently fundraising so that we can expand our service offering with a view to creating a network of crises cafes and GP co-locations across Cornwall. We need staff and locations to do so. We need to spend money on promotional materials and spread the word about our cause and reason for being.
You can donate to us here, volunteer with us and if you are an employer/business owner or Human Resource Director working in or for any Cornish based business we’d love to hear from you so we can talk more.
Thank you for supporting us and sharing this post.
Together, we can ensure we are here to support you and life’s challenges.
