At a Life Tree cafe your safety and progress are our priorities.
Meet people with a keen interest in mental health matters. Share and learn from each other. Get working on solutions that work for you.
All staff and volunteers are trained to respond to and prevent crises. We all make the best of caseworking and psychological wellbeing tools.
Following from our year long test and learn in a GP surgery we know what surgeries need.
Portheden offers a crisis line call out service, education and development service, that can support practice and HR, and can undertake specialist sessions both 1:1 and group.
We can use a range of tested assessments for impact measurement and emphasise agency, recovery and preplanning.
Preplanning with patients is through our website where a free ‘near field communication’ (NFC) device is given freely to enable easier access to this where preferred. All other casework practices are supervised and managed under HCPC standards.
The actual value of lived experience can not be understated.
We find too that so many people want to help and ‘give back’. This is why we at Portheden do whatever we can to support people to share of themselves safely and without losing focus.
We offer quality assured training, supervision and management for this and are only too happy for people to join us in delivering our services.
Portheden is a professionally founded service using relevant skills to their best.
Our 1:1 work is available through a variety of funding streams or can be privately commissioned.
Our groupwork is modestly priced and available both on regular bases or on one off sessions, such as mediation or with a restorative focus.
